Listening practice
Choose music for rest, meditation, and focus
Build a listening routine around your day, rather than searching for one perfect frequency.
Pure Ascension Sound Editorial · A short listening guide
For winding down
As a listening experiment, choose a gentle opening and an even texture without abrupt changes. Set a timer if you prefer a defined ending. You can use speakers at a comfortable level instead of wearing headphones in bed. The aim is a pleasant wind-down routine, not a test of whether you fall asleep on schedule.
For meditation or quiet movement
Try a piece with enough space to notice your breathing and surroundings. Let breathing stay natural rather than forcing it to match a pulse. For yoga or movement, preview the track first so unexpected changes do not interrupt you. Keep enough awareness of your environment for the activity you are doing.
For reading and focused work
Experiment with an instrumental track or a familiar nature sound. If a melody keeps drawing your attention, choose a simpler texture or silence. Compare how the sound fits one real task instead of expecting the same recording to suit every activity. These are editorial listening suggestions, not treatment instructions.
